Santos-Hurwitz Wedding

This past Saturday, Michael and I went to a wedding for one of my oldest friends.  I've known Sarah since grade school at St. Cyprian's in Long Beach, where we were best friends and grew up together.  This past weekend, she married Andrew Hurwitz, who Sarah brought as her date to our wedding.  Recently, we saw them again when they attended our baby shower.  It's so great that all through these years, we've still managed to keep in touch and stay a part of each other's lives.  Even though we may not see each other too often, we're there when it counts...and when ever we do get together, it feels just like old times.  :)

Anyways, they were married at St. Cyprian and had their reception at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach.  Everything went smoothly and looked beautiful, and as guests, Michael and I had a good time.  Sarah and Andrew looked so happy, and I couldn't be happier for them to have found each other and to have us all there to celebrate this big step in their lives together.  :)

A couple pictures from the event...

Sarah is a high school science teacher who loves chemistry....so look how she incorporated that into the wedding-- her seating chart!  It's all about the details, and really-- how clever!  :)

Like at our wedding, Sarah & Andrew got a photobooth!  We definitely had fun with that!  :)

At the wedding, I saw Andrew, another St. Cyprian alumus...
so we had a mini reunion in the photobooth! :)

I should also mention that this wedding was one of the first times Michael and I have gone out to do something fun on our own without the baby.  We dropped Abbie off to Michael's parents' house.  I was a little sad at first when we were driving away because I'm rarely away from her for too long, and also, I've already got some separation anxiety building up because I know that the school year will start soon and I won't be able to stay home with her any more.  So really, I guess that day was good practice for me.

Thank you sooooo much Grammy & Grampy for taking such good care of our little love!  We could tell she had a great time because on the ride home, she wouldn't stop smiling and "talking" about all fun you guys had.  :)  We love you guys!
